Lam Hong was founded in Singapore in 1946 and is acknowledged as an established stockist. We are recognised for being an exclusive distributor of several industry-leading brands in the Marine & Offshore; Oil & Gas and Construction industries globally.

As the largest distributor of Crosby products in Southeast Asia, we carry a minimum stock of 3,000 Ton full range Crosby Fittings, in addition to 2,000 Ton of Anchor Chain, 2,000 Ton of Wire Rope and 1,000 Ton of Anchors, Polypropylene Rope, Deck Fittings and other Marine supplies in our warehouse and factory that spans over 60,000 square feet.

Our service and support facilities include a 500 Ton and 1,500 Ton American Crosby-National Swaging Press, a 600 Ton German Press and 1,000 Ton English Talurit Press. To complement the presses, we have installed a 200 Metric Ton Pull-Test Proof Loading Machine. The Proof Load Testing Machine is a Grade A Machine approved and certified by the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research (SISIR), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and the Lloyd’s Register. All our wire rope, chain slings and slings can be tested and supplied with test certificates.

Today, Lam Hong Group has established a global presence in Southeast Asia, China, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and United States. In recognition of our contributions to the industry, we were awarded the Circle of Excellence in Offshore & Marine Industry in 2012, and the Singapore Maritime Distinguished Award in 2014.

Lam Hong was established 

Lam Hong Group was founded by Mr See Cheow Song in 1946, after World War II.
The company was incorporated as Lam Hong Rubber Company Limited, and started business trading in metal and recycled goods, operating at 101 Sungei Road.


Lam Hong moved to 530 Beach Road

Located right at the mouth of Kallang Basin, Lam Hong was well positioned to provide Ship Supplies to Vessels docking at the river. 
The company then shifted it’s focus to supplying Marine & Offshore equipment, being the first company in Singapore to import and supply Wire Ropes, Anchors, Anchor Chains and other related hardware and equipment. 


Lam Hong moved to 74 & 76 Jalan Benaan Kapal

With the Government’s push to develop the Kallang River, Lam Hong moved from its Beach Road location to Jalan Benaan Kapal at Tanjong Rhu, still fronting the Kallang River, from the other end. 


Lam Hong (S) Pte Ltd was officially incorporated


First Crosby Distributor in Singapore

Lam Hong was the first company in Singapore to be the Authorised Distributor of The Crosby Group Rigging products


First to supply Korean Wire Ropes in Singapore

Lam Hong was the first supplier of Korean Wire Ropes in Singapore

2nd Generation Leadership Succession

Lam Hong moved to Jurong Industrial Estate, 6 Link Road

We out grew the then existing premise at 74 & 76 Jalan Benaan Kapal and moved into a new 70,000 sq ft Warehouse.
Lam Hong was the first in the industry to move up to Jurong Industrial Estate, in line with the Singapore Government’s vision to transform Jurong into an Industrial Hub.



First to supply Chinese Anchor Chains in Singapore

Lam Hong is the first supplier of Chinese Anchor Chain Distributor in Singapore
